Project aims

• To ensure the sustainability by implementing the system of repayment of investment through the savings in electricity and maintenance of the existing system.
• To establish sustainability with expansion on other municipalities and states in the region.
• Adequate testing and patenting of new products.
• To improve the local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the way to use healthy, ecological and low-cost public lighting.
• Creating new working places and reducing
• Unemployment.

Location and target groups

• All residents of communities where the LED lighting system will be installed. In the first phase it is planned to contract 13 municipalities and 7 privately owned
• companies in Bosnia-Hercegovina (preliminary agreements available).

Main acitivities

• Providing of funds for monitoring the entire investment program.
• Updating the study costs for each contracted work under the potentially amended customer requirements;
• Work performance.
• Promotion and marketing of the entire process.
• Evaluation of implemented activities.
• Investing in the further development.

All previous contracted investment can be realized for up to 8 years. Most of the investments related to outdoor lighting in Local governments can be treated up to 7 years, which is the optimal period for return on investment due to the size of the municipality and the number of luminaries that needs to be replaced.
